Tomkins appoints new Group Treasurer

Tomkins plc today announces the appointment of Paul Wilkinson as Group Treasurer, with effect from 21 January 2002. Paul, aged 41, is currently Director, Corporate Finance & Treasury at Enodis Plc.

A graduate in Business Studies, Paul qualified as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. He moved into treasury in 1990 and has held various roles including Treasurer of The Maersk Company Limited (1990 to 1993), Treasury Manager of Tiphook Plc (1993 to 1994), Group Treasurer of First Choice Holidays Plc (1994 to 1996) and Group Treasurer of Charter Plc (1996 to 2000).

Ken Lever, Finance Director of Tomkins plc, said: "Through his varied career, Paul has built up a broad range of treasury experience in large international public companies and more recently in the Engineering sector. I am delighted that he has agreed to join Tomkins."
